Special bras

Everyone knows that women wear bras for a variety of purposes, for support, to improve the shape of the breast, to preserve modesty by minimizing or restraining them, to enhance their cleavage, to minimize movement during exercise, to facilitate nursing, or to enlarge the perceived breast size. Most bras are designed to lift the breasts off the chest wall if they sag and to restrain them from movement. Some bra designers strive to produce a garment that is not only practical but attractive.

But now.. Bras will no longer only lift breasts, they can do other things as well too!

Solar Powered Bra

solar bra Triumph International Japan Limited has introduced its latest brainchild, a solar bra with a built-in solar panel that captures and redistributes the sun’s power and can actually generate enough electric energy to power a cell phone or an iPod!

According to Triumph spokeswoman, Yoshiko Masuda:
"The panel requires light to generate electricity and the concept bra will not be in stores anytime soon, as people usually can not go outside without wearing clothes over it. But it does send the message of how lingerie could possibly save the planet."

No matter how heroic its proportions may be, the Solar Power Bra cannot be washed or worn on a rainy day as it could become damaged.

Its eco-friendly promise reflects an emerging trend in Japan, and Triumph does not stop there when it comes to underwear innovation.

Chopsticks Bra
chopsticks bra Who says eco-friendly can't be sexy? The makers of the shopping bag bra and the microwaveable "warm" bra have come up with a new way to save the planet and enhance your cleavage -- the chopstick bra.

Chopsticks Bra is a bid to promote reusable chopsticks and reduce the waste that disposable utensils create. Japanese toss 25 billion chopsticks away annually.

"It’s a small step, but because many Japanese chopsticks are disposable, big chunks of forests are being cut down," said Hiromi Shinta, spokeswoman for the company.

The concept bra, which comes with a pair of collapsible chopsticks, has a Japanese dining table theme -- the right cup consists of a rice bowl, the left cup a miso soup bowl, and a removable chopstick-rest lies between the cups.

Holsters, made of cloth and placed on the sides of the cups, hold the chopsticks while pushing the breasts to create cleavage.
